This brand new charity designed to support young disabled people (aged between 16 and 25) with weekly one-to-one counselling sessions with qualified professionals.

Set up by Joshua Hepple, a law student with Cerebral Palsy, the service is currently available to anybody within a comfortable travelling distance of their base in Leith, with Talktime hoping to reach out to new areas in the near future.

The charity’s stated aim is “To help physically disabled young people to reach their potential and to improve their mental well-being and that of their families.” and it is a subject which is close to Joshua’s heart. He has been actively involved in disability rights campaigning for the last seven years and, with the help of his mother Seonaid Cooke, hopes that Talktime Edinburgh can become a vital service for young physically disabled people in the city.
