People affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can attend a series of free, fully-accessible events across the UK.
‘Living with MS’ days are designed to help anyone affected by MS, and include a mixture of inspirational talks, information, and professional workshops on topics such as work and benefits, mood and cognition, and financial well-being. MS affects more than 100,000 people in the UK, so the events are a great opportunity for the MS community to come together.
Following the success of Living with MS in Southampton and Newcastle, the charity has added four more dates to their events calendar.
Whether people have been newly diagnosed or have had MS for a number of years, along with friends and family, they can attend a Living with MS event in Epsom, Dumfries, Newport or Coventry in the coming months.
Inspirational and motivational
From 9am – 4pm, guests will have the opportunity to sit in on a mix of inspirational and motivational talks on different aspects of life with MS – including learning about the latest developments in MS research.
There will also be the chance to join in with a number of interactive workshops on topics such as benefits, symptom management, and exercise, led by professionals from the MS Society and local organisations.
