Thatch Close Cottages bring together three recently converted 17th century barns offering a high level of accessibility set within 12 tranquil acres of secluded countryside, at the end of a 400m private drive with wonderful views over the Garron Valley in Herefordshire.

Comforting wooden finishes throughout the cottages along with exposed beams give the accommodation a simple and relaxing atmosphere while natural light, underfloor heating and an air recycling system, ensure the cottage feels calm and inviting in all weathers.

Consideration has been given to all aspects of your stay from the electric rise and fall chair in the living room to the bedroom’s two large beds, that can be zip-linked as well as a rise and fall dressing table.

The wetroom has a Geberit toilet, an electric rise and fall washbasin, support rails and shower seat, while in the kitchen you’ll find a rise and fall sink, and a talking microwave can be provided on request.

The two patios adjacent to the cottage are both wheelchair accessible and there is level parking adjacent to the cottage, which is all one level. Naturally, we welcome dogs – as does the local pub.

Enjoy an accessible trip to an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, close to Symonds Yat, the Wye Valley & Forest of Dean in South Herefordshire.
